Brooklyn born and raised, Lynne grew up immersed in
the art and culture of New York City, receiving her
Bachelor's Degree Cum Laude and a wealth of training
in fine art, theatre and dance performance before
moving to California in her early twenties.

Ten years later, her love for the creative process,
and for people, turned into "Design Ciccone," a small
graphic design and print business she developed in
1990 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many years as a
commercial artist sharpened her ability to translate
ideas and thoughts into color, motion and form.

The personal expression Lynne knew all her life before
the pace of a successful career was calling. In 1997,
she finally responded to that call, painting at the
Painting Studio, cesf.org, a center for "creative
exploration" in San Francisco. Immediately, out
emerged a very personal and free expression -
beginning with the exciting GODDESSES, a series of 6
foot tall paintings she channeled while in Hawaii,
Mexico and Lake Tahoe.

"Lynne would wrap up some paper, put tubs of paint in
a thermal travel bag and get on a plane. She'd always
return with some wildly-colored goddess or flower,
painted on paper taped together, unfolded with spirit
and energy popping off the page!"

Within a year, piles of art were stuffed under her bed
and in flat places all over her small studio apartment
in San Anselmo. For her, it was life changing, moving
her to share her excitement and inspirations with
others. Soon she joined forces with Rob Miller, who
helped her archive her work into digital prints using
a new form of printing called the "Giclee" process.
The off-the-gamut range of Lynne's colors are well
represented in this process, making the prints very
closely resemble the vibrant originals.

With these limited and open edition archival
reproductions, Lynne's art is now enjoyed and owned by
many through shows, exhibits, Open Studios, and at
Fine Art fairs.

"Her work uplifts us and reminds us of the pleasures
and joys of living."
